BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - The man who police say opened fire into a crowd of teens near a Buffalo park on Tuesday, killing a young teen, was arrested early Thursday morning.

Joseph Gant, 28, was charged with one count of Second Degree Murder and three counts of First Degree Assault.

Gant was booked in the pre-dawn hours on Thursday, accused of killing Ray Floyd Patterson III, 14.

Three other teens were shot and injured. All have non-life threatening injuries.

Gant entered a not guilty plea at his arraignment in Buffalo City Court. He is being held without bail.
