BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - The Make-a-Wish Foundation and 97 Rock radio station have teamed up for the 16th annual Make-a-Wish radiothon.
They are auctioning off everything from dinner gift certificates to Sabres and Bills tickets, all to raise money for children with life threatening illnesses.
Since the program began, they've raised more than $2.5 million. Some of the wishes granted were trips to Disney World, pools in the backyard and even a wheel chair ramp.
This year, the groups are making 80 children's wishes come true and they are counting on the community for help. The radiothon runs until 10 a.m.
