Major International Martial Arts Competition Comes to Buffalo Dec. 26th to 31st

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW/Release) - Approximately 1,000 athletes from the U.S., Canada, Mexico and parts of the world as far away as Honduras, Ireland and Guatemala will compete in the 23rd Super Grands World Games & Amateur Internationals, from Dec. 26th to 31st at the Adam’s Mark Hotel in Buffalo, NY.

This prestigious event will attract sport karate contenders to compete for 120 officially recognized blackbelt world titles for juniors, adults and seniors.

In a simultaneous tournament, the Sport Karate Amateur Internationals will also award amateur titles to the world’s best players in both blackbelt and under blackbelt ranks.

The tournament attracts a high caliber of athlete, including several who have performed on America’s Got Talent, in Cirque du Soleil and in various Hollywood productions.

Categories that athletes will compete in include continuous and point karate fighting, weapons competitions, breaking, musical forms and gymnastics.

The general public is invited to attend the tournament’s Grand Finales on the following dates and times (admission ranges from $4.95 to $19.95 per finale):
Grand Finale 1: Dec. 28, 7:27 p.m.
Grand Finale 2: Dec. 29, 7:27 p.m.
Grand Finale 3: Dec. 30, 2:27 p.m.
Grand Finale 4: Dec. 30, 7:27 p.m.
