A Western New York woman's story may help create a new state law.

Susan Still is a victim of domestic abuse and not only feared for her life during that time, but also her job.

A proposed state law would require employers to give victims at least three days of paid time off to file police reports, restraining orders, and find temporary housing.

Still says many victims do not come forward in the workplace, fearing they'll lose their job.
