East Amherst, N.Y. (WKBW) - East Amherst resident Karen Meltser said after years of not being happy with her weight, she is saying enough is enough.
"I'm definitely 30 pounds more than where I'm comfortable. I don't know, I think life just took over," Meltser said.
A busy life that includes three kids, a part-time job and many other things that she said make it difficult to focus on herself.
"I'm now 42 years-old and it's just not as easy as when I was 32 years-old to lose the weight," Meltser said.
Karen said losing weight has been on her mind but she said sometimes things are easier said than done.
"I've been trying and trying and trying. I stick with something for a week or two then I lose motivation," Meltser

Rachel started by taking Karen's measurement. Now, she is going to help achieve her goals.
"We all know what to eat and what not to eat its the whole point of how to stay motivated." Miller said.
Rachel is not only an instructor she has been there, losing 100 pounds. Both women agree first and foremost, they are doing this for themselves but they also say a happy mom makes a happy family.
"My kids are getting older and I want to set an example for them. I want to be fit and participate in activities," Meltser said.
Karen said although it is going to be nice to fit into that little black dress again, she said there is going to be much more to this makeover.
"It's not just looking a certain way. Now, that I'm in my forties, I'm just afraid I'm not going to get healthy," Melser said.
