Pittsburgh, P.A. - Pittsburgh police said Brian Jamison, 61, of Niagara Falls is being charged with leaving the scene of an accident involving death or injury.

That accident killed Judith Kollar, 53, of Pittsburgh. She was crossing the street at a crosswalk when Jamison struck her. Police said she was thrown across the road. Then, two more vehicles hit here. The two drivers stopped but Jamison kept on going.

Jamison does acknowledge being in the area around 7 a.m. when the accident happened but he said he didn't hit anyone. Pittsburgh police said it is possible that he may not have known that he hit the woman because his truck weighs more than 33,000 pounds.

When they caught up with Jamison in Erie, police did find evidence of a pedestrian contact on the underside of the truck, including a brown thread from the Kollars clothes.

Kollar was an invoicing supervisor at Adagio Health in Pittsburgh for the last 26 years. They issued a statement saying she was a wonderful co-worker and great friend to many people. They said a void has been left at their company.
