AMHERST, N.Y. (WKBW) - Several local leaders will gather to debate the NY SAFE Act Monday night.
A panel will discuss all of the legal challenges that have come from the new law. Also discussed will be new strategies to get the law repealed.
Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard, who strongly opposes the SAFE Act, will be one of the speakers on the panel.
The event will be held at Shannon Pub in Amherst at 7 p.m., and is open to the public.
