BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Local community activist Darnell Jackson was arrested on Monday, and is accused of pointing a loaded gun toward a man and his baby. Eyewitness News cameras were there as Jackson was released from jail this morning.
A man had his child in his arms as he had supposedly showed up at Jackson's home to collect payment for some work he did for Jackson.
According to Buffalo police Jackson became irate and began punching the victim in the face. Then Jackson went into his house, and came back out pointing a shotgun at the man, who was holding his one-year-old boy.
Jackson is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and reckless endangerment, along with endangering the welfare of a child.
