BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - An Amherst bridal studio liquidating its inventory is offering to come to the rescue of a Chicago-area bridal shop that saw its business go up in flames Wednesday.

After seeing the story on ABC's Good Morning America (Click Here for Full Story) about a devastating fire that destroyed Eva's Bridal Shop in Oak Lawn, Illinois, liquidation managers from The Vow Bridal Salon in Amherst contacted the Illinois store, offering to fill any existing orders.

The Vow carries stock similar to that carried by Eva's Bridal Shop, and the two businesses are currently working to take inventory to see what dresses can be replaced.

“We saw the story on ‘Good Morning America’ and were touched by the
plight of not only the bridal shop but also of the brides who were
suddenly left without dresses for their wedding day,” Ian Harding, owner of Sweet & Harding, said Friday morning.

“We contacted Eva’s owners this morning offering to help fulfill their
existing orders, and we are in the process of providing them a list of
our stock.” Harding said. “Hopefully the dresses we have will be what
Eva’s customers need.”
