BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - John Lennon's killer has been denied parole again, according to a spokesman for the New York State Parole Board.

A three-member panel of Parole Board Commissioners denied parole to Mark David Chapman following an interview via video conference from Attica Correctional Facility.

Chapman was sentenced to 20 years to life in prison after gunning down former Beatle John Lennon in December of 1980.

Chapman will again be eligible for parole in 2012.
