LeRoy Central School Gets Vandalized, Suspects Caught

24 year old Kyle Nash of 7 Myrtle Street and a 15 year old Juvenile were both charged with one count each of Burglary in the Third Degree, a class D-Felony and Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a class E-Felony.

The third person, 18 year old Bishop Williams of 106 Lake Street was also charged, but only with Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree, a Class B-Misdemeanor as he allegedly trespassed on the property of the School but left prior to Nash and the juvenile committing the alleged Burglary.

During the Alleged Burglary, a computer system and numerous cameras and camcorders were stolen. Some of this property was recovered.

Personnel from the LeRoy School District and the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.

The LeRoy Police Department is seeking assistance in determining who broke into a residence on Gilbert Street in LeRoy between July 23 and July 27 and stole copper other plumbing pipes from the residence. Anyone with information is asked to call the LeRoy Police Department at 345-6350.
