About Give for Greatness
Channel 7 is supporting Artvoice and M&T Bank in the Give for Greatness campaign whose goal, together with Fund For the Arts, is to raise $1 million dollars for the 47 cultural institutions that have been cut from county funding. Every theater company, dance company, arts education organization, small-to-mid size visual arts group and every literary organization in the county has been abandoned by county government. This two-month long campaign will conclude on May 5, 2011 and has several events planned in order to revive the funds deleted that support Western New York’s creative organizations that entertain the community, teach children and give reason to be proud to be living in this community.
