Lady Gaga Calling For Bullying To Become Illegal

BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) Singing superstar Lady Gaga is "tweeting" about the suicide of Amherst teenager Jamey Rodemeyer. She notes that she is looking to meet with the President, and calling for a law in memory of Jamey.

The 14 year old took his own life after reportedly being bullied in school.

Below are the recent "tweets" as posted by Lady Gaga on her Twitter page. There is a link to that page on the news links section of, which includes a connection to the emotional YouTube video Jamey made.

A wake for Jamey Rodemeyer will be held Thursday and Friday from 3-8pm at the Amigone Funeral Home on Sheridan Drive at Hopkins.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place Saturday morning at Saints Peter and Paul RC Church on Main Street in Williamsville.

On Sunday there will be a candlelight vigil and march, starting at 8pm on the corner of Allen and Franklin Streets, which will proceed to Club Marcella on Main Street where a fundraiser will be held.

Donations are being accepted at any Bank Of America branch in care of "Friends of Jamey Rodemeyer."
