Labor Talks Between NBA Owners, Players 'Pretty Far Apart'

NBA owners and players are "pretty far apart" in labor talks union executive director Billy Hunter said Wednesday following the latest round of discussions between the sides in New York, according to USA Today.

The labor impasse has already led to the delay of training camp and the cancellation of some preseason games. And it could lead impact the start of the 2011-12 season if a deal is not reached soon, the story says

According to the report, the two main issues between the sides are the type of salary cap, and the split of revenue between players and teams.
