Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW) A Kenmore man who pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter will spend up to three years in state prison.
Prosecutors say 20 year old Robert Mooney had a blood alcohol level of .14 when he lost control of his jeep, crashing it and killing his best friend, 20 year old Joseph Cavalleri (pictured right).
It happened back on June 21st on Southwestern Boulevard in the Town of Brant.
Emotions were running high in court as members of the victims family spoke out, including Mooney himself, who through tears apologized to the victim's family.
Cavalleri leaves behind a young daughter, who was two at the time of the crash.
