LOCKPORT, NY (WKBW) -- The fate of a Rochester teenager accused in the murder of a group home worker, is now in the hands of a jury.
Anthony Allen, 18, is accused in the beating death of Renee Greco. Greco worked at a halfway house for troubled teens, where Allen resided in June, 2009.
The six-week trial's closing arguments were held on Wednesday morning. The jury deliberated for a few hours, but came back to the judge late in the afternoon asking that the transcript for the entire trial be read back to them.
A verdict in the trial is not expected until at least Thursday.
Robert Thousand, 17, also of Rochester, pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges in connection with Greco's death and testified against Allen at his trial.
