BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Attorney's and family members of Amanda Wienckowski are speaking out Friday about a major court decision in their favor.

A judge ruled Thursday ordering Erie County and Buffalo Police to release evidence in the case of Wienckowski's death to a private pathologist hired by the Wienckowski family.

Wienckowski was found dead in a garbage tote in Buffalo nearly two years ago. Authorities had originally ruled her death an overdose, but her family believes there is more to the case.
