(WKBW release) According to a news release from the New York State Police, 58-year-old Joseph Valvo of Jamestown was arrested Tuesday on charges of Sexual Misconduct, Forcible Touching and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

According to the news release:

On October 19th, 2011, a trooper responded to a complaint in Sherman where a 15-year-old male victim reported that a white male in a beige Ford pickup truck approached him and asked his assistance in programming his radio. The victim entered the truck and while setting the radio stations, the suspect allegedly rubbed the victim’s genital area. The victim then exited the truck and reported the incident to the State Police.

After conducting a thorough investigation, Valvo was determined to be the suspect involving the 15-year-old victim and was placed under arrest. Valvo was processed at SP Jamestown, issued appearance tickets, and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Sherman Court on a later date.
