Jamestown City Council Member In Trouble With Police

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. ( release / post-journal.com ) The Jamestown Police Department issued a bulletin Monday that police officers were dispatched to 100 Harrison Street at approximately 2:30a.m. Saturday morning after a person there broke out a large window to the establishment.

The report notes that the person had left the area prior to police arrival. The investigation by the officers at the scene revealed that subject Michael A. Taylor allegedly broke the window, and a warrant for his arrest was issued.

Taylor turned himself into the Jamestown Police at 1p.m. Monday, and will be arraigned in Jamestown City Court on the charge.

Taylor is a Democratic Jamestown City Councilman from Ward 3.
