ALBANY, N.Y. (WKBW / Albany Times Union ) - The Albany Times Union is reporting that three state workers are arrested after a lengthy investigation.
The first is Marrion Arrington, an employee with the Department of Health. Arrington is accused of using her state issued credit card, spending nearly $3000 to rend a car for two months and to pay her rent. She lived in public housing.
Barbara Tyson is also with the Department of Health. Investigators said she used her state issued credit card to pay for many bills including several bar tabs which added up to nearly $400.
Finally, Bridget Noradki is an employee of the State Office For People With Disabilities. She is accused of spending just under $200 on person items.
All three arrests follow and investigation by the New York State Inspector General Ellen Biben who promised a statewide probe into the abuse of business credit cards.
