Tonawanda, N.Y. (WKBW) - Police are investigating several incidents involved Tonawanda School Board Members who claim they are being harassed.

According to the Tonawanda News, board members Diane Misner, Bob Starr and Jackie Smilinich have all filed complaints with police. They and some of their family members said they have been receiving threatening phone calls. One of their houses was even broken into and property damaged.

They said all the incidents started shorted after the board voted on hot issues, including the recent decision to tear down the Clint Small Stadium in Tonawanda.

One person who has been questioned by police is former outspoken school board member Elizabeth Olka. She denies being involved. Olka was removed from the board in 2010 after being accused of harassing the daughter of a fellow school board member. She told the Tonawanda News that police have questioned her in this most recent case. She once again denied any responsibility.

Detectives with the Tonawanda Police Department are looking into the complaint. The school board is also discussing putting up security cameras outside school buildings because some of the incidents happen on school property.
