BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Erie County is pulling in an unexpected cash flow of $3.9 Million thanks to an incorrect estimation by New York State.

County Comptroller Stefan Mychajliw says the state overestimated how much cash it needed to put in the county pension fund.

The money will now be put into the general fund to help cover a project shortfall in sales tax revenue.
