BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - With it's close proximity to an international border and both Toronto and New York City, Buffalo and Western New York has become a major hub for human trafficking.

The number of human trafficking cases in Western New York has exploded in recent years, and now authorities say an alarming number of Buffalo residents are being forded into modern-day slavery.

John Borsa investigates the second-largest money making crime behind narcotics in a two-part special.
