Two Suspects Arrested in Connection With Buffalo Home Invasion

Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW release) -- Buffalo police said Wednesday they have arrested two suspects in connection with an overnight home invasion on Winspear Avenue.

Northeast district police arrested a 24-year-old male and a 22- year-old male and charged them with robbery, burglary, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and menacing.

According to police, the men allegedly entered a home located in the first block of Winspear just before 1:30 a.m., armed with a gun, before making off with cash and marijuana.

Northeast district officers tracked the suspects to Tyler Street where they were apprehended. Police also said they recovered the apparent weapon and the property that was taken.

U.B. Police assisted in the investigation and say that the two victims are current students and the two arrested are former students, and all known to each other.
