HOLLAND, NY ( WKBW ) Eyewitness News is following breaking news this morning from Southern Erie County.

Firefighters have controlled a large blaze that engulfed two buildings.

The fire broke out at a home around 4a.m. Wednesday morning at 55 South Main Street, and spread to a nearby building.

A family did make it out safely.

The home is a total loss, and the other building sustained minor damage.

One firefighter suffered a minor injury. The cause remains under investigation.

The Holland Boys and Girls Club will be closed until further notice as a result of the fire.
