BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - New York candidate for Lt. Governor, former Western New York congresswoman Kathy Hochul, is launching a political offensive after she was snubbed for a key endorsement by the New York Times.

The Times endorsed Hochul's Democratic opponent Tim Wu instead.

The move prompted Hochul's campaign to release a YouTube video called "Meet Kathy Hochul," in which she explains her record and reaches out to liberal voters.

The Times labeled Hochul conservative because she apposed allowing undocumented immigrants to have drivers' licenses and has been endorsed by the NRA, although Hochul said she does support Gov. Cuomo's Safe Act.
