Ellicott, NY (WKBW) New York State Police have arrested Andi L. Rasmussen and Randy S. Rasmussen in relation to a hit and run accident on Denslow Avenue in the Town of Ellicott on Saturday.

Troopers were called to Denslow Ave. when a vehicle struck several mail boxes and drove away. An investigation led troopers to State Route 430, where they found the car allegedly involved in that incident had run out of gas.

In the vehicle, troopers found Andi L. Rasmussen and Randy S. Rasmussen and their five-year-old child. Troopers report the two had apparently been involved in a domestic incident in the vehicle at the time of the property damage accident.

The Rasmussens are charged with endangering the welfare of a child. In addition, Randy Rasmussen is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

The Rasmussens were issued appearance tickets for Ellicott Town Court.
