BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW/ release ) The name of the victim from a car-pedestrian accident at Seneca and Duerstein Street Thursday night is 59 year old Anna Grady of Buffalo.
As of this posting, she is at ECMC in the trauma ICU listed in critical condition.
The driver's name is not being released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
At this time, charges have not been filed.
The incident occurred just after 5p.m. Thursday at Seneca and Duerstein in South Buffalo.
Police reports indicate a female pedestrian was crossing the street, when a vehicle, traveling west on Seneca, struck the female sending her air born.
The pedestrian then landed under a truck and was later taken to ECMC after being rescued from under the vehicle.
Police believe the vehicle involved in the hit and run may have been a white SUV Saab.
Police report that they may have found the vehicle involved.
