BUFFALO, NY (WKBW-TV) - It's a happy ending to a story we brought you on Monday night. Mark Korney, a lovejoy resident, had his dog Diamond stolen on Saturday afternoon, but tonight she is back home with her dad.
Martha Beavers, the lady who returned the dog says she purchased the dog for $100 a couple days ago and took care of her. One of her friends said she saw the story on Eyewitness News and told Martha. Tuesday afternoon the dog was returned to Mark Korney who couldn't have been happier to have his puppy home.
"I'm grateful and extremely happy she is home, absolutely," said Korney.
