HAMBURG, NY (WKBW-TV) - The Hamburg School District is now under the control of two assistant superintendents, Colleen Kaney and Barbara Sporyz, as police investigate current superintendent Dr. Richard Jetter.

A source tells Eyewitness News Dr. Jetter is being investigated by police in the Village of Hamburg. Officers are determining whether the superintendent filed a false police report back on May 6th.

On that evening, Dr. Jetter told police, the school board, and Eyewitness News that his vehicle had been vandalized during a school board meeting, and that a note had been left on the windshield.

A source says police are now investigating whether Dr. Jetter's car was actually damaged in a one-vehicle accident in the City of Buffalo the night before the meeting.

This comes on the heels of a misconduct conduct hearing currently going on between the Hamburg School Board and board member Catherine Forcucci.

The Hamburg School Board will meet tomorrow to discuss the matter. The meeting is scheduled for 7:15 a.m. at the Hamburg School Administration Building.
