BUFFALO, N.Y. - One local group of young professionals is making a statement in Buffalo - with paper hearts.

For the third year in a row, Buffalo Young Preservationists Organization has caught local and national attention for "Heart Bombing", decorating buildings with cut-out paper hearts, abandoned buildings throughout the city.

This year, they chose five buildings: St. Ann's Church and Shrine, 27 Garner, Wildroot Factory, Agway Malting Warehouse and the Sattler Theatre. Each of these buildings are in danger of being demolished.

The handmade hearts feature hand-written inspirational messages to motivate people to help save these historic buildings.
