Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) is heading to the University at Buffalo on Monday morning. It will be the Governor's first public appearance since a scathing New York Times article focused on his administration.

Last week, the article accused Cuomo's administration of shutting down the Moreland Commission on Public Corruption's investigations and inquiries into group's with ties to his office.

Cuomo's team issued a 13-page report, stating that any Moreland Commission does not operate independent from the governor.

The Republican gubernatorial candidate is also heading to Buffalo today. Rob Astorino plans to hold a press conference about the Moreland Commission report.
