Dozens came out Friday to donate used instruments so that kids in WNY will be able to pursue their love of music.

It started when Buffalo native and Goo Goo Doll, Robby Takac saw our story about Antoine Rushing, and 8-year-old boy who was afraid of losing his drum lessons through the music program at a closing city charter school.

Takac contacted his professional drummer friend, David Hulett who then bought Antoine a drum set of his very own and donated free lessons.

That inspired "Good Things, Good Music," a collaboration of Channel 7, Robby and David to ask the community to come together to donate for the good cause.
