Ten girls, fighting cancer, and their mothers were treated to a special spa day on Sunday.

The girls are part of Camp Good Days and Special Times.

The idea behind the pampering is to serve as a diversion from their treatments in the hospital and help the girls feel beautiful on the inside and outside.

"It's amazing, " said Stephanie Kowalski, age 16." It is just really nice and a real treat."

However, life isn't always a treat for these brave girls fighting cancer.

"When you get treatment sometimes you don't really feel good and don't have a lot of energy," said Kowalski.

That is why Vogue Salon and Day Spa opened up their doors. Employees came to work on their day off to treat these special girls to a special day.

"The young girls absolutely love it, " said Theresa Lapi, Vogue Salon and Day Spa Co-Owner. "They smile all day. If we can take one day out of their grueling treatments to make them smile, we are here for it. We enjoy it."

Wolski and the other girls said the extra tender loving care means the world to them.
