Gerald Colon Arrested For Identity Theft In Lockport

LOCKPORT, NY (New York State Police Press Release) - On July 25, 2012 the New York State Police arrested Gerald Colon, 29, of Bronx, NY for Identity Theft in the third degree, a class "A" misdemeanor.

The State Police in Lockport were alerted by a town of Lockport residence that their credit card had been compromised and used to make on-line purchases.

The investigation revealed that Colon had in his possession numerous stolen credit card numbers which he was utilizing in the Bronx, NY.

Colon was arrested by the New York State Police in New York City and transported to Niagara County where he was arraigned before town of Lockport Judge Leonard Tilney and remanded to the Niagara County Jail on $2,000 cash bail.
