BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Services for Daniel Mackin taking place on Buffalo's east side Thursday afternoon, the first of four services to be held for the victim's of last Saturday's City Grill shooting.
Daniel and his wife were celebrating their one-year anniversary at the City Grill on the night of the shooting. The couple had recently moved to Texas in an effort to start a better life. The Mackin's have two children who are now without a father.
Along with family and friends, city officials like Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and a representative from Governor Paterson's office showed up to the funeral services at Durham Memorial AME Zion Church.
For the other three victims of Saturday's shootings, there are funeral services planned. Joint calling hours for Shawntia McNeil and Tiffany Wilhite are being held at True Bethel Baptist Church from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday night and again Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. to Noon. Funeral services will be held immediately after.
