Friday night the Jr. Buffalo Jills will take the field at Ralph Wilsons Stadium to perform a cheer they learned through four, three hour session workshops lead by the Buffalo Jills. Emily Klima is one of them and has worked very hard over the past several weeks to prepare for the event.

Emily Klima told Autumn Lewandowski one of the moves they help her with. "They just hold me up in the air and then they turn me around and I hold my arms up in one of the moves they call the high V." Her mother, Kim learned all the terms as well since Emily couldn't wait to tell her all about her practice.

"She came out all smiles and ready to go, wanting to show me some of the moves she did and she did fantastic."

Emily is the Celebrity Child for Variety Club and has some limitations but Kim Klima knows the physical demands on her daughter is helping her to overcome difficulties. Kim says Emily's main goal is to be able to walk one day independently and this just gives her the drive to be up on her feet.

Stephanie Mateczun, Director of the Buffalo Jills knew it would be a great fit for her.

"Emily is such a beautiful child. She came in and was probably a little intimidated by the other 99 other girls running around but she came in with such a bright personality. The little girls she's working with accepted her with open arms they have a lot of fun we taught them the routine and she's learning it with a lot of enthusiasms and she'll be great on the field on Friday."

Kim Klima couldn't be more proud of Emily and is excited that she's able to be a part of a team.

"Being able to be a part of a group of girls to be a part of something like everyone else and to be accepted with everybody else is just a great experience for her."

Emily says she can't wait to wear her sparkly Jr. Jills shirt and get all dressed up!
