Freed American Hikers Speak About Iran Ordeal

The pair of American hikers released last week after being held for more than two years in Iranian jail on charges of spying and crossing into Iran illegally discussed their time in custody upon their return to the U.S. over the weekend.

The men -- Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer, both 29 -- who spent 781 days in custody, said they lived in "a world of lies and false hope" during their imprisonment, according to the Los Angeles Times. The men, who had been sentenced to eight years in prison earlier this year, were released on $500,000 bail each.
