BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Four people were hospitalized after a wrong-way crash on the Skyway early Friday morning.
Police say a vehicle was traveling the wrong way along Route 5 when it struck another vehicle around 12:30 a.m. Friday morning.
The driver of the wrong-way vehicle, a 33-year-old Buffalo woman, was taken to ECMC with serious injuries. The driver of the other vehicle, a 20-year-old male from West Seneca, is also being treated at ECMC with serious injuries.
Two other passengers in the one vehicle suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The crash shut down the Skyway for about two hours Friday morning, but it has since reopened. The accident is still under investigation.
