BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Rain continues to fall on the already saturated ground throughout Western New York, causing ponds and pooling in areas.
Many low-lying areas began to look like swamps, while many creeks and waterways have overflown, seeking new paths through the terrain.
In Boston, NY, crews were digging new ditches along the side of the roads to allow for the heavy flow of water.
Officials are asking drivers to use caution, as road conditions can change rapidly. Drivers are also being reminded to never drive their vehicle through deep water, as it can be much deeper than it appears and flood the vehicle's engine.
Send us your flood and water pictures to YouNews@wkbw.com and we may share them on-air.
