More Than Fifty New Alien Planets Spotted

A telescope at the European Southern Observatory has discovered more than 50 new alien planets, including one super-Earth that could potentially support life, according to a story on Space.com.

According to the report, a total of 16 super-Earth planets were in the group, but astronomers say that only one, which is approximately 3.6 times the size of the Earth, is within the habitable zone of the star it orbits.
