BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - The corner of Allen St. and Elmwood Ave. is usually busy with activity on Tuesday nights.
Three major restaurants sit on three corners at this intersection. Jim's SteakOut, Towne and Cantina Loco are packed with customers nightly.
But the blizzard has forced all three restaurants to close their doors on Tuesday.
Only one corner restaurant was open. Allentown Pizza.
Employee Juan Lebron said it was definitely worth it.
"We cashed in," he said.
Some small business owners said it was the right decision to close, despite the loss of money.
Bartenders and servers are facing their third day of no work, which as tipped employees is putting a strain on their wallets.
Most business owners said they will have to open on Wednesday, no matter what the conditions are like.
