BUFFALO, N.Y. Spring officially began Tuesday morning at 1:14 a.m., but it feels more like summer outside right now.
The high temperature hit 80 degrees on March 20th. This is a new high temperature record for March 20th and it's the earliest that the mercury has ever reached 80 degrees.
Tuesday marked the 4th straight day where a record high temperature has been set in Buffalo.
Record high temperatures should be set on Wednesday and Thursday. Interestingly this will mark six straight days of record high temperatures which is a record for consecutive days with record high temperatures.
Five straight record highs were set from May 31, 1919 through June 4, 1919 and 5 straight record high temperatures were set from July 6, 1919 through July 10, 1988.
Normally for the month of March the temperature reaches 60 degrees only 3 times, but this March has been far from normal.
