One person was killed in a two-vehicle accident early Wednesday morning in the Town of Darien.
Sheriffs say the accident happened around 6:15 a.m. on Route 238 near Route 20 between Attica and Griswold roads.
The accident reportedly occurred in bad weather, and Mercy Flight had difficulties reaching the scene.
Route 238 was closed and traffic has been detoured.
