BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Labor Day weekend is right around the corner, but Winter is already on the minds of some people.
With relatively mild winters recently, some experts are predicting something different this upcoming season.
The latest farmer's almanac predicts below average temperatures for the cold months of 2013-2014.
The almanac says after unusual or snow-less winters in 2011 and 2012 nationwide, things could change drastically this year in the Western New York area.
Parts of New England are listed as cold wet and white.
The almanac also calls for significant snowfall, including a red flag for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic area for the first 10 days of February for heavy winter weather.
