ORCHARD PARK, NY (WKBW) The home opener for the Buffalo Bills. And that means food, fun, and fans. Western New Yorkers and Bills fans from all over celebrated the start to a new NFL season, and a clean slate for their Buffalo Bills.

"Squish the Fish! Squish the Fish! Squish the Fish!" echoed through the parking lots of Ralph Wilson Stadium early Sunday.

Fans came from everywhere from Nova Scotia to Florida, and as far west as San Diego. From 90 year old fans that were alive well before the Bills existed, to 18 month olds who just learned how to say the word "bills." From tailgate parties of a hundred people to the father and son who shared a small grill and a few hot dogs.

But despite differences, Bills fans share in the red and blue attire of jerseys and t-shirts, and the optimism that "this is the year." Many fans picked the Bills to end their multiple year drought and make the playoffs. One fan even went as far as predicting a Superbowl year for the Bills.
