NIAGARA FALLS, NY (WKBW) - Niagara Falls police are questioning two young men in connection with the apparent murder of a 5-year-old girl.

The two males, one of whom is believed to be 16-years-old, are being detained by police.

Officers discovered the body of 5-year-old Isabella Tennant in a dumpster in an alley between 3rd Street and 4th Street at around 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Tennant was last seen in Niagara Falls sometime between midnight and 6:00 a.m. Police said the last person to see the young girls was the 16-year-old boy, believed to be a neighbor.

Tennant was staying at her grandmother's house on 6th street and last seen in the living room around midnight, the front door was left unlocked.

Tennant's mother works overnight at Players Bar. She came to the grandmother's home around 6 a.m. and reported her daughter missing after being unable to locate her in the house.
