Niagara Falls, NY (WKBW)

The program was be held on Monday May 16th & Tuesday May 17th at Niagara Falls High School.

Thirty seniors were removed from their classes throughout the day on Monday, starting at 8:30am, to represent those killed by drinking and driving in the US. A few minutes later the student will return as the "living dead," complete with white face make-up and a black "every 15 minutes" t-shirt. A Police Officer enters the class and reads an obituary, which has been written by the "dead" students' parents. From that point on "victims" will not speak or interact with other students for the remainder of the school day.

A mock crash was held on Monday in the back parking lot of Niagara Falls High School on Monday by police officers and EMTs.
