Failed Russian Spacecraft Splash Lands in Pacific Ocean, Report Says

According to Space.com, a failed Russian spacecraft fell back to Earth and crashed into the Pacific Ocean on Sunday, a member of Russia's Defense Ministry said.

The 14.5-ton spacecraft had been stuck in orbiting the Earth in recent months. Most of the craft was expected to burn up upon re-entry, but some pieces were expected to survive the fall back to Earth.
