An FBI agent has been charged with public lewdness after being accused of gesturing to drivers on the thruway without pants on.

Special agent John Yervelli was arrested Friday night when a trooper pulled over his minivan at the Eden tolls.

A trucker driving on the thruway told police Yervelli had pulled up beside him and made lewd gestures.

Yervelli was charged with public lewdness and granted an Action in Contemplation of Dismissal (ACD). If he doesn't get in trouble with the law within the next six months, all charges will be dropped.

Yervelli has also been mandated by the FBI to complete a psychological counseling program.

There is no word yet of the status of his employment.
